A Health Center is a facility that provides comprehensive health services to community residents, including maternal and child health programs, as well as adult and elderly health services.

Health Centers are staffed with professionals such as public health nurses, registered dietitians, dental hygienists, physical therapists, and nurses.

Some facilities may also have midwives, physicians, and psychological development counselors on staff.

In terms of maternal and child health services, Health Centers offer support from pregnancy through postnatal childcare. Services include:

  • Pregnancy registration

  • Prenatal consultations

  • Parenting classes for expectant parents

  • Home visit guidance

  • Consultations

  • Nutrition counseling

  • Dental check-ups

  • Newborn home visits

  • Weaning workshops

  • Vaccination information

  • Health check-ups

Each district is assigned a public health nurse who handles individual consultations and provides support tailored to residents' needs.

If you have concerns about pregnancy, childbirth, your child, or yourself, don’t hesitate to seek advice.
